Microestil Microcement Course(Beginner)

DETAILS -Where: 1107 Franklin St. Manitowoc, Wi 54220 -When: April 9th-11th -Cost: $1500 fee, $750 down payment. -Products: DecoPast (pre mixed) and PoolChem (powder) products by Microestil-Included: Students will receive 12 Kg of product to practice with and a Co.me Bianco trowel to practice at home.  Shipping arrangements can be made for an extra charge for product.  -Class starts @ 9am and ends 5pm -Drinks and lunch will be provided to all participants -All tools required will be provided This hands-on course is designed to introduce professionals to the fundamentals of installing microcement systems.  While this is a beginner-level microcement class, it is intended for professionals who already have experience working with a trowel, such as drywallers, plasterers, tile setters, decorative finishers, concrete finishers, or similar trades.  ​Students will learn the complete installation process from surface prep to final sealing using professional grade microcement products by Microestil During the class students will cover: -proper substrate prep and priming -mixing and applying base coats and decorative coats -color tinting process -correct trowel application technique and material movement -texture creation and finish control -sanding stages and timing between coats -sealing systems for durability and water resistance -avoiding and correcting common installation mistakes ​To develop proper technique and confidence with the system, each student will work hands-on with  different material, and complete FOUR different sample boards, and work as a team to complete one full wall or floor.  Upon completion each student will be certified to apply all Microestil Microcement products. ​The goal of this course is to give experienced tradespeople the knowledge and practical experience needed to begin installing durable, high end microcement finishes on floors, walls, bathrooms, furniture, and other surfaces.   ​​ ​ ​
